John's research focuses on testing of Gravitational Reference Sensors (GRS) using a state-of-the-art torsion pendulum. His work is two fold: characterizing and simulating drag effects on the test masses within these GRS as well as integrating and testing the prototype Charge Management System (CMS) for the Charge Management and Metrology Testbed (CMMT): GRATTIS' on-ground testing apparatus.
