Francesca Barbieri
PhD Candidate
LISA, Charge Management in Space, Torsion Pendulum
Currently working on the LISA Charge Management Device development and testing, as well as investigating charge management techniques with the use of the UF Torsion Pendulum.
About
Francesca graduated with a MEng in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Bristol, UK, in July 2023. During her undergraduate studies, her research focused on testing of instrumentation for balloon-borne application, used to characterize atmospheric radioactive particles to study their impact on the Earth’s climate.
